Color has been used to reflect people's beliefs and values in various cultures. In Korea, the traditional Korean five colors, known as Obangseak, were used in costumes, cuisine, and ceremonies since they believed that each color has a unique meaning and power to ward off negativity and invite positive blessings.

Students are assigned a booth to introduce the meaning and use of Korean colors in their cultures during an event organized by the school in celebration of National Color Day.
