Students explore legends’ heroes and a day of Yuriy Gagarin's life linking folklore, art and history together. Students will be reflecting on heroes features and actions.

Students listen to Yuriy Gagarin talking about his flight to space, watch the cartoon and reflect on real hero’s features and actions.
What elements of the story are creative imaginations and what happened in real life? List these elements in two tables.
Discuss your findings and come up with the real story that happened to Yuriy Gagarin on April 12, 1961.
